Kenya this time.<\/p>\n<p>It seems to never stop as the Western adoption agencies can operate with impunity.<\/p>\n<p>This also involves the newly created Danish Agency DIA, which is the agency created by the Danish government, out of a merger of Danadopt and AC Denmark.<br \/>\nWhy? Because of the Ethiopian adoption scandal. The excellent movie &#8220;Mercy Mercy&#8221; that gives a unique insight into the lies, the betrayal, the corruption in intercountry adoption. The movie was shown allover the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dfi.dk\/faktaomfilm\/film\/en\/79474.aspx?id=79474\">world<\/a>. Outrage.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But did the &#8220;Adoption World&#8221; drew any lessons? Nope. \u00a0They advised Ethiopia to ratify the Hague Adoption Convention.<\/p>\n<p>And now, the newly established DIA is caught up in a scandal again.<\/p>\n<p>In Kenya!<\/p>\n<p>Kenya ratified the Hague Convention in 2007! Great!<\/p>\n<p>Here the sad result. It&#8217;s well known that once intercountry really gets going, children need to be found. \u00a0Need to be harvested. \u00a0And things get murky.<br \/>\nThese mothers were lucky. Their children had not yet left Kenya on a one way ticket to Denmark, or Sweden.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DWFjpYclqdY\" width=\"340\" height=\"240\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nAnd until now, no one really asks the central question:<\/p>\n<p><strong>How many more children have been sent abroad, whose parents in Kenya desperately search \u00a0for them.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For ACT, this is like a deja vu. \u00a0India, Romania, Ethiopia&#8230; the list is endless.<\/p>\n<p>Our first case, the Indian parents looking for their missing &#8211; stolen children.<br \/>\nThe kidnappers were only caught years later, when their child was already in The Netherlands&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TJESrRXTJfs\" width=\"340\" height=\"240\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nUnresolved.
